Are You Ready To Fly

You may or may not be much on church, or God, or anything spiritual, 
but I’m pretty clear that if you want to transform your life (or your business, or your relationships, or your anything!!) it’s a pretty darn good place to start!
My fav all time preacher, Dr. Woody Torrence (who’s too humble to much like going by “Dr.”; maybe one of the reasons I love him?) was talking about trust today and the flying trapeze.
The patriarch of the Flying Wallenda’s died at the age of 72 as he was performing. His wife is known to have said that she knew it was just a matter of time because in recent years he wasn’t flying anymore; he was just trying not to fall.
Wow.
*long pause*
I’m at a loss for words because that describes my life in recent months far too well.
I know that it might not be good form to admit that I’m struggling. That I should hold myself up in the place y0u aspire to. But I think that, well, basically, *lying* to you is crap.
I’ve declared this a no BS zone and I mean it.
And I mean it partly for your sake, of course, but it’s partly for mine too. I know I’m going to find my way out of this and I know that I want to share that journey with you. Maybe you’re there. Maybe you used to be. But I do know that I’d want to not only be here FOR you – I want to be here WITH you.
Strategic? Probably not.
Authentic and real? Absolutely.
Maybe if we can all just start *there* we can arrive *anywhere*.
World according to Tracy, at any rate.

Coaching Challenge on Romance

Coaching Challenge:
It’s easy to tell how important romantic relationships are to those of us here in the States. The signs – literally and figuratively – are everywhere.
The bad news is that each of us is entirely and completely destined for heartbreak. Doomed!
The good news? Each of us is entirely and completely destined for heartbreak. Doomed!
The only way that a relationship will keep from breaking our hearts is if we manage to go out together like “Thelma and Louise” in a fiery crash. Otherwise it’s just a matter of time before someone is left behind to grieve the other.
Is that awesome or what?
If it’s never going to turn out then we might as well love with reckless abandon and throw ourselves into the fray with a blatant disregard for potential heartbreak. It’s coming anyway, why not turn the ride into something brilliant?
And while you’re traveling along the way you have the opportunity to carry an eternal romance with God with you. Develop an appreciation for the Divine and live with the one constant companion that will be there for you when the inevitable crash happens.
It’s a dimension of life that is always worth the time and energy.

Please Pray for my Sister Laine

It’s really difficult for me to talk about right now – so a million pardons if I’m sketchy on the details…
My sister Laine has suffered a catastrophic fall. She actually died and was successfully revived on the scene .
She has serious injuries including shattering her arm and at least 1 vertebrae and 4 other vertebrae are broken, as well.
She’s doing remarkably well under the circumstances – has already had one minor surgery, is having major reconstructive surgery on her arm today and is tentatively scheduled for reconstructive surgery on her back for Wednesday.
She has full mobility and just that is truly a miracle and a blessing.
Our sister Paige passed away four years ago this coming August and Laine has suffered her loss very, very deeply. Laine is an amazing, brilliant, loving human being and is one of the most precious people in my life, and it is horrendously awful that she would be finally making some measure of peace with Paige’s death as well as all the other challenges and set backs life has served up for her only to have this challenge grievously handed to her on a plate.
I am lovingly requesting that you pray for her and continue to hold her in your prayers. I am also lovingly requesting that you ask your prayer warriors, your churches, temples and synagogues to pray for her as well.
Prayer is miraculous and I can’t help but feel that she’s paid her dues and deserves to have the heavens open for her in an outpouring of love, healing and miraculous blessings of all kinds.
With my most heartfelt thanks in advance, please sign me her adoring sister,
